Barack Obama just endorsed my campaign

I have some incredible news to share: President Barack Obama has endorsed our campaign. This is the honor of a lifetime.

When he was elected, I was a young man from Louisville’s West End. Seeing a former community organizer become our nation’s first Black president showed me what was possible for someone like myself.

President Obama has always believed that ordinary people, organized and working together, can change the course of this country. That belief has carried me from one of the poorest zip codes in Kentucky all the way to this race for the U.S. Senate.

I’m deeply grateful for his support, and I’m ready to bring that hope home to Kentucky.

But as much as an honor this endorsement is, it can’t knock on doors or put our message on the air. Only grassroots supporters like you can do that. I need to reach every voter in the Commonwealth. Will you chip in whatever you can today to help us finish strong?
