After Andy’s last performance, I wouldn’t show up either

In classic Mitch McConnell fashion, Andy Barr was once again a no-show to our debate this week.

I can’t say I’m surprised. After his last performance, I wouldn’t show up either.

He couldn’t answer a question without bringing up his puppet master, Donald Trump, or the special groups funding his campaign.

Whether discussing local data centers or the disastrous conflict with Iran, all Barr did was put his unpopular policies on full display and remind voters of his allegiance to a deeply broken status quo.

So this time, he just didn’t come.

Here’s what that tells me: Andy Barr knows he can’t win this race on the issues. His only leverage is that his rich donors keep funneling millions into his campaign to attack me on the airwaves.

I’m running on my message alone, and my grassroots supporters like you are what fuels this whole fight. If you’re with me, I need you to step up before the last ballots are cast in just a few days. Will you chip in just $25?
